THE COMMUNITY HEALTH
Foundation’s recent
Healthy
Kids
Bright
Kids
opportunity has been a
huge success over the past four years.
The board is proud to have granted over
$40,000 for community schools in the
Antigo Unified School District, Peace
Lutheran, All Saints School, Elcho,
White Lake, Crandon and Suring School
District.
This new grant is designed to assist
local community school teachers, staff
and principals in funding health-related
items or programs and activities for
their classrooms, students and schools.
With school district budget reductions,
the foundation is attempting to provide
students with the opportunity to
participate in an activity that would
have been otherwise unaffordable to
the schools.

Get ready for July’s event!
Many of the grants we provide are available because of our annual
fundraising event, “Spirits at the Lake,” scheduled for Friday, July 11, at Bass
Lake Country Club. It is an 18-hole scramble ending with a spirits tasting, two
live bands, a Mexican-themed dinner and decor, raffles, and a silent auction.
Mark your calendars now!
